Wow, what a great day we had on Friday to Wildlife Discovery Center, Michaels and the Chicago Botanic Gardens! We had a full coach and everyone really enjoyed the day! All three venues and staff at each were wonderful and truly appreciated your assistance with bringing this trip together for us!

"Dungeon of Doom was a perfect Mystery destination, they had no idea where they were going! Peter & Tony were great!! They greeted the group, gave them a brief history, had a character liven things up upon our arrival (photo attached) and everyone had fun! That is, once we reassured them that they would not be scared out of their wits……the lights are on! Peter provided some wonderful snacks for the entire group, and provided for those that were not able to walk far or go through the haunted displays. This is a very unique attraction and my group had a lot of fun with it!! Actually we split them into groups taking into consideration that some would not be able to navigate uneven walking surfaces and stairs……We had 50 people on the bus and 40 of them opted for “give me the works”!! They never cease to amaze me! The entire staff that was on hand to help out were wonderful! Thanks so much for giving me the “inside scoop” on this…it worked very well for us!" - Carol Moskal, The Private Bank
"Each and every stop was absolutely perfect. Everyone was so accommodating and generous. I can't say too much for all the wonderful people that took care of us. Thanks again for your help." - Linda Bothwell, The Private Bank
"What a beautiful trip. All your planning made for a perfect day. People at the Botanic Garden were very friendly and helpful. Trippers bought LOTS at Long Grove Confectionery Store and The Popcorn Factory Outlet Store. Both places were ready for us and very friendly and helpful." - Barbara Nieft, Bay View Community Center
"The entire tour was fantastic. The Tempel Farms was outstanding from a very ample and delicious box lunch to the splendid show by the Lipizzans. It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze and our people enjoyed the day." - Burdell Hensley of Blessed Byways from Iowa
“Barrington History Museum pulled out all the stops. I met with them in the Spring to do a site visit with Linda Brown and Michael. We discussed what I needed for my group of seniors and they took the ball and ran with it. They had organized that we split my group into two. One group stayed on the motorcoach for a Tour of Barrington with Michael as the Tour Guide. His knowledge was unbelievable as well as the amount of information. We went through gorgeous historic neighborhoods that we would not ever drive through on our own.
Then the 2nd group was split into two groups and there were docents as each station. School House, Jewel, Antique Wedding Dresses, the Art Exhibit/toys/World War exhibit, Blacksmith actually showing us how to make a few items, etc. They even had two tough taskmasters who kept time and cut the docents off. It was a well-oiled machine.
In fact, they even had a room with refreshments: lemonade, soft drinks, coffee, and extremely fresh and delicious chocolate chip cookies from Jewel (to go along with the Jewel exhibit theme) you could swear that they just came out of the oven.
The only complaint I had was that they would have like to have spent more time. I would not change a thing / timing or anything else. Thank you for all of your help Jayne and I look forward to more ideas from you and Lake County.” Destinations by Nadine
