After going through the security checkpoint, visitors will enter the area full of interactive games and activities for everyone to enjoy. Stop by the Visit Lake County tent to enter your child for the chance to win the Player Pad Experience. The concourse is full of several activities and interactive games to keep future fans of the Monsters of the Midway enthusiastic and engaged throughout their visit. On-site there is an official Chicago Bears Pro Shop where you can pick up your favorite player's jersey and select other gameday gear.
Halas Hall has been a fixture in Lake Forest since 1979. The complex was named after long-time owner and coach of the Bears, George Halas, and was located on Lake Forest College’s south campus. Since 1997, the Bears have called this new location by the I-94 Tri-State home. They also have an indoor field space named after the late Hall of Fame tailback Water Payton Center on the grounds. During Enjoy Illinois Chicago Bears Training Camp, this state-of-the-art facility showcases simulated NFL training exercises geared toward the younger Bears fans. Little monsters can catch a pass from 30 yards out, attempt a field goal, go through numerous drills and more. Youngsters can also delight in face painting, diving for the football, cornhole, Bears Connect Four photo ops and dance-offs with Staley, the Chicago Bears mascot. The Lake Forest facility also offers a wide range of delectable eats from food trucks including Tropical Shaved Kona Ice, Flash Taco, and Toasty Cheese.
The unifrom is one display at during the Enjoy Illinois Chicago Bears Training Camp. Chicago Bears General Manager Ryan Poles along with head coach Matt Eberflus are looking to make an impact this season in the "Black and Blue Division" building around third-year quarterback Justin Fields. Fields will be looking to get the ball into the hands of running back Khalil Herbert and newly-acquired wide receiver D.J. Moore. Tickets are sold out for the remainder of the Halas Hall event, so mark your calendars for early July 2024 so you can get your tickets early for 2024’s edition of Chicago Bears Training Camp at Halas Hall.
