The Lake County Libation Trail partner Vigneto del Bino Vineyard and Winery offers nine different types of wines at their scenic establishment. The winery sits on one acre of a 10-acre property surrounded by 2,300 grapevines. The Trombino family planted their first vine in 2009, and they haven't looked back. The winery resides in Antioch and features exceptional vinos like Bino's BLend (semi-dry red table wine), the Sequoit Red (red table wine), the Kaleidoscope (semi-sweet white table wine) and others. One of the village's oldest establishments is the Pickard China Company. This fine china company, outlet store and antique museum moved its headquarters in 1937 from Chicago to Antioch and has been a prominent business to this day. The Antioch staple and Illinois Maker is a fourth-generation family-run business manufacturing high quality chinaware. Pickard has provided china for Hilton, Marriott Hotels, General Motors, the U.S. Air Force, the White House (most recently the Obama family) and Queen Elizabeth. The outlet store is closed indefinitely, but chinaware can be purchased online.
