Take in the most cheerful room in Grayslake, when you visit the Grayslake Giving Trees at the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum!
The Grayslake Giving Trees opens on Friday, November 24th (12 pm – 7 pm) as part of the annual Tree Lighting & Holiday Festival in historic downtown Grayslake which begins at 3 pm that day. The Grayslake Giving Trees also runs during the Heritage Center’s normal operating hours (Wed - Sat: 12 pm - 4 pm and during the Grayslake Farmers Market). Local organizations decorate trees to illustrate their mission or to celebrate the theme chosen. This year’s theme is a Splash of Color!
Enjoy the scenes and even vote for your favorite tree. Votes are $1 per ticket and the organization with the most votes keep the profit from their tree. The remaining organizations split the proceeds with the Grayslake Historical Society.
Don’t miss out on all the beautiful (and colorful!) trees!
