The Association of Iranian Film and Theatre Artists Abroad (AIFTAA) will hold the third edition of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” Film Festival from September 17 to September 20, 2026.

The festival aims to showcase creative works that highlight the struggles and achievements of women, promote freedom of expression, support gender, ethnic, and religious equality, and emphasize the importance of freedom by condemning censorship.Inspired by the Iranian women’s movement against inequality, the Association of Iranian Film and Theatre Artists Abroad (AIFTAA) organizes this international independent film festival to amplify the voices of women’s struggles for equality beyond national borders and bring them to a global audience.
