Virtual Tour of Six Flags Great America

Experience the thrills before you go...

Six Flags has 16-thrilling coasters that you have to ride (that is unless you're under the height limit). Continue here for the Kid's Guide if you or someone in your family doesn't meet the height restrictions.

Enjoy the ride at Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor as we provide a first-hand virtual look at many of the rides the Gurnee amusement park has to offer.

The Tour

Here is the grand Georama walking tour of the entire Gurnee amusement park with Director of Park Operations & Media Professional, Dameon Nelson. Continue here to see Six Flags Great America's map.

Mardi Gras Hangover

Six Flags Great America's newest coaster, the Mardi Gras Hangover, is the world's largest loop coaster. The ride features 32 face-off style seats (like THE JOKER) and thrill enthusiasts have the opportunity to view fellow riders' reactions on the daring coaster riding at 360-degree revolutions.

THE JOKER Free-Fly Coaster

THE JOKER, is one of the most unique attractions as the ride features innovative magnetic technology and unique swiveling vehicles. On this wicked new adventure, you'll soar outside the confines of the track in wing cars facing other riders.

Goliath

This beast of a ride is the Guinness Book of World Record's tallest, steepest and fastest wooden roller coaster. Take the Goliath challenge!

The Demon

This high-speed looping coaster was one of the first coasters in the world to feature a double corkscrew. This version of the Demon was Rage of the Gargoyles; which was a virtual reality transformation of the roller coaster. The Rage of the Gargoyles has since discontinued. However, you can still get a feel for the timeless coaster with this video.

X-Flight

Defy gravity on this ground-breaking wing coaster which features cutting-edge technology. You are clear for takeoff on X-Flight.

The Whizzer

This spiral lift coaster has been delighting riders since the park opened in 1975. The Whizzer is usually the first roller coaster many first-time thrill- seekers experience.

Riptide Bay

From towering slides that ride at 40 miles per hour, to surfing, to inner tubing to just playing or relaxing in the pool, Hurricane Harbor has all the thrills and relaxation you're looking for during Lake County's hot and humid summers. Continue here to learn more about Hurricane Harbor.

The Viper

Bolting down eleven incredible drops at 50 mph, the Viper will challenge even the bravest snake charmers. In this video, the coaster is riding backward. Enjoy the wooden ride!

Batman: The Ride

The masked superhero takes you on a menacing ride of relentless loops and twists. Batman has is not fond of the idea that THE JOKER is his neighbor!
