The public is invited to join Highwood mural curators Laura “Lulu” Reich and CJ “Koz” Kozloff at Station 440 for an evening of behind-the-scenes stories, cocktails, rooftop views and conversation inspired by the creatives who have helped transform Highwood into a living canvas. “More Than Paint” highlights the transformative power of art and community. Developed to bring people together through creativity and connection, Highwood’s International Mural Festival and city beautification initiative has reimagined the community through large-scale public art, demonstrating that murals can do more than change visual landscapes—they can uplift, inspire and unite communities.
The film, shot, edited and directed by Kozloff, represents one of the most significant projects of his career. Guests will view a newly created short version of the full-length documentary and learn about the story and impact of bringing public art to the North Shore alongside friends and neighbors.
