Summer public tours are back at Elawa! The tour will explore the farm’s role within the broader history of Lake Forest while highlighting the foundation’s mission and how it is put into practice today. Guests will learn about our land stewardship practices, including regenerative farming methods, the seasonal farming cycle and partnerships with a growing network of regional sustainable farmers. Tours will include visits to the gardens, animal areas and indoor spaces across the property. Please note that the tour route includes uneven terrain and occasional steps. Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes. Tours will be held rain or shine.
