Pride in the Park is Highwood's celebration of love, community and the beautiful diversity that makes this city one of a kind. Happening as a special theme night during the Evening Gourmet Market, it's a free, family-friendly evening packed with food, art, live music and good people — all in the heart of Everts Park.

What's going on:

• DJ Versage, sponsored by Giggles Play: Highwood's own DJ Versage is on the decks all night — high energy, all hits, the whole family welcome.
• Community Mural with The Art Center Highland Park: Paint your piece of the puzzle. Literally. Each attendee adds to a collaborative mural that becomes next year's official Pride in the Park poster.
• Pride Rocks Garden, hosted by North Shore Civic Club: Paint a custom rock that gets displayed right here in the community.
• Friendship Bracelets and Rainbow Tattoos, hosted by Yelp Chicago Suburbs, Plus pride-themed giveaways all night.
• Giant Yard Games: Connect 4, Jenga, Twister — bring your competitive side.
• Free Activity Tables: Something for every age.

Like all Celebrate Highwood events, Pride in the Park gives back, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Highwood Pride and their mission to build a more inclusive, affirming North Shore community.
