Oktoberfest returns by popular demand on Saturday, September 26, bringing a taste of Bavaria to a new location in the Ravinia District. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the festivities will take over Dean Avenue and Jens Jensen Park, featuring traditional German beer and bites alongside authentic Bavarian music and a headlining band.

The 2026 celebration includes the return of crowd-favorite competitions like the stein-holding contest and hammerschlaggen, plus axe throwing and family-friendly activities. With plenty of dancing and seasonal fun on tap, this year’s event promises an even more immersive experience for visitors looking to celebrate fall on the North Shore.
