The Village, Vernon Area Public Library, and School District 103 are collaborating on a new event called Hello Neighbor - Community Walk. The walk will be held at Spring Lake Park on Saturday, September 19 between 10 a.m. and noon.

The park will be set up to host interactive stations featuring opportunities to meet local elected officials, activities, small giveaways, as well as family activities along the park path, light games, morning refreshments and music. The event is intended to bring residents together to connect with local governments staff/elect officials, and strengthen community connections.
