The Village of Round Lake Beach has announced the 2026 return of El Mercadito, which will feature a new schedule and location. The event has transitioned to Thursday evenings from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cultural & Civic Center grounds. By moving to the Civic Center, the market now offers an indoor contingency for inclement weather. Indoor space is limited and will be provided to the first 20 vendors who register. Despite the change in logistics, the event will maintain its traditional market atmosphere, featuring fresh food, artisans, and family activities.
