The public is invited to a free community event Saturday, Oct. 17, from 2-6 p.m., for the Urban Farm Center Grand Opening at the College of Lake County's Lakeshore Campus. The day will include tours of the innovative facility, food samples from local farmers and vendors, and art, music and community. All are welcome.
