Explore different types of wildlife movement during this hands-on program designed for young children and their caregivers. Activities highlight how animals move through their environments, including flying species in the sky and aquatic wildlife below the surface, while encouraging play and learning in nature. This two-day program meets Tuesday and Thursday and repeats the same lessons each week. Participants meet near North Bay Pavilion at Independence Grove. Children must be ages 4-5 by the first day of the program. Lessons, activities and topics are designed specifically for this age group to enhance the experience; age exceptions are not permitted. Registration is required. Admission is $43 for residents and $60 for nonresidents. An adult must register with each child, accompany them during the program and attends free of charge.
