Wauconda America 250 Celebration will start at Cook House (711 N. Main Street) and will feature tours of the historic Cook House and a patriotic tribute to Wauconda from 2 to 5 p.m. From 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Phil's Beach, join in on an evening of music, a custom menu for purchase, a local historian sharing stories about Wauconda's roots and impact on Chicago/Illinois, and USA themed mini games.
