National Night Out is an annual police and community partnership event that brings hundreds of Mundelein residents and families together for an evening of free, family-friendly activities. This year’s theme is Glow in the Dark. The event, hosted by the Mundelein Police Department and the Mundelein Park and Recreation District, will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at Courtland Commons. Activities will run from 5 to 8 p.m., followed by a Glow in the Dark Dance Party from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. featuring a DJ and glow-in-the-dark bubble show.
