Maple Syruping Self-Guided Program at Ryerson Conservation Area

Ever wonder about that wonderful brown stuff you put on pancakes?

Learn the sweet science behind how trees make sap, and how they turn that sap into real maple syrup as you hike along this self-guided trail at Ryerson Conservation Area in Riverwoods, March 20-31.

Informational signs are placed along a designated, half-mile trail.

Start your walk outside the Ryerson Welcome Center and follow signs to the sugar bush.
