Join us at Romney Brown Candle Company in downtown Grayslake on Sunday, May 3rd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a guided 2-hour experience that blends creativity, connection, and a fun, upbeat atmosphere.

During the first hour, you’ll create your own custom candle from start to finish. Choose your vessel, blend your fragrance, and pour your candle with step-by-step guidance from our team. No experience is needed, making this a perfect activity for beginners and experienced makers alike.

While your candle sets, you’ll move into a cookie decorating session led by Lindy City Cookies. You’ll decorate themed cookies in a relaxed, welcoming environment, making this a fun and interactive part of the experience. By the end of the event, your candle will be fully set and ready to take home.

We’ll also have sweet treats available for purchase throughout the event, along with upbeat music and a cozy, social atmosphere that makes this the perfect outing for a girls day, a mother-daughter date, or an early Mother’s Day celebration.

A build-your-own mimosa bar will be available during the event, featuring a variety of fresh juices and optional edible glitter so you can customize your drink exactly how you like it. Mimosas are available for purchase by the bottle, with both individual and shareable options.

Located in downtown Grayslake, this experience is ideal for anyone searching for things to do near Chicago, fun activities in Lake County, or a creative workshop that offers something different from the typical night out.

Tickets are $45 per person and include both the candle making and cookie decorating experiences.
