Violent Femmes will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and tickets are on sale now. Formed in Milwaukee, the influential band helped pioneer the alternative rock scene with its distinctive acoustic-driven folk-punk sound. Best known for songs such as Blister in the Sun, Add It Up, Gone Daddy Gone and Kiss Off, the group is celebrating 45 years together. Their self-titled 1983 debut album, Violent Femmes, remains a platinum-selling classic and a cornerstone of 1980s alternative music.
