The Shops on Elm Place will host its first ever "End of Summer Party" on Wednesday, Aug. 26, marking 10 years of Gilbert Orthodontics and five years of ABC Design Jewelers. The free community event, hosted by Gilbert Orthodontics and fellow Elm Place businesses, will run from 3 to 5:30 p.m. with a DJ, dancing, food, family activities and prize giveaways. An adult only after party hosted by ABC Design Jewelers, with a lounge provided by Gabby & Summer Classics, will follow from 6 to 8 p.m.

Family friendly activities include a bounce house, face painting, balloon art and free samples from The BBQ Pit. Several participating businesses, many marking their own milestone anniversaries, will offer special activities, including complimentary jewelry cleaning and ear piercing at ABC Design Jewelers, a "10 Years of Smiles" selfie station at The Custom Framer, temporary hair color spray at Joan Barry Hair Designers, and free B-12 shots at TREVI Longevity & Aesthetics Institute, among others.
