Join the Vernon Hills Police Department for the 29th annual National Night Out, an evening of community, safety and family fun. This nationwide event promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.

The evening will feature free food and ice cream, inflatables, face painting, music and a water spray. Visitors can also explore the bookmobile from Cook Memorial Library and connect with representatives from the Vernon Hills Park District and Hawthorn School District 73.
