The Lake County Model railroad is a sponsoring it’s Fall Open House
The club demonstrates what the hobby of model railroading offers a family or an individual. The club operates an HO scale permanent operating model railroad, in a 30 by 60 foot room occupying over 1,400 square feet.
The layout reflects a theme of railroading in the 1950-1960's. Although the layout is now 51 years old it is uses the latest digital technology to operate and simulate railroad activity. The layout has become one of the best in the Midwest.
Dates for the open house are: Saturday & Sunday, November 14 and 15.

Admission is free, and families are encouraged to attend.
