The Gurnee amusement park sheds its spooks & spirits and alters its frightening appearance to a magical holiday winter wonderland. 

Claus, cocoa and coasters will all be available at this "Jingle Bell Rock" event running from November 23-December 31.

General admission at the park gate is $77.99. Tickets for children at 48 inches and under $57.99. Children ages two and under are free of admission.

Deck the halls in a dazzling display of lights, sights and sounds for Six Flags Great America's holiday party. There is a plethora of yuletide entertainment at the Gurnee holly jolly park. Exchange a gift with yourself as you explore Holiday in the Park. Don't let those Ebenezers cramp your seasonal style. Also, don't forget 

Character Storytime: Everyone loves a good ol' fashioned holiday allegory. Join Mrs. Claus, Jack Frost and a host of other characters for some sit-down literature. 

Dasher's Dinner House: Home for the holidays and can't wait for an immediate home cooked meal? This Yukon Territory eatery (in the Mooseburger location) will fill your hearts with hearty fare. 

Holiday in the Park Shows: The winter party will feature six different types of holiday shows including Elegance Light Show, Holiday Hoedown, Holiday Tree Lighting, Kalightoscope, LOONEY TUNES Christmas and Wonderland at the Grand. Continue Here » to learn more. 

Holiday Treasures: Got a looney toon or a superhero in the family? This is the perfect opportunity to get that goofy little crime fighter of yours the gift they've been waiting for. 

Holiday Tree Lighting: Illuminate your mind by witnessing the enormous tree lit from November 23-December 23 at 5 p.m.

Kalightoscope Light Show: View a massive 200-foot Christmas tree immersed with cutting age holiday lights

Letters to Santa: Pencil St. Nicholas all of your holiday wishes at the Gurnee amusement park. 

Merry Market Places: Instead of that hustle and bustle in the mall, you could discover the perfect stocking stuffer.  

Peppermint Swirl (Chubasco): "Rockin' around the Peppermint Swirl have a happy holiday" you'll see "All of the Lights."

S'mores Stations: In four locations of the park, gather with your family and friends and roast some chocolate and marshmallows and smash that delicious cuisine between two graham crackers. (Additional fees)

Santa Express: You better believe Kringle and his cronies will make a trip from the North Pole to Gurnee. Snap a photo memory, tell him you've been nice and unfurl your wishlist scroll. The man in the big red suit will listen to your requests through December 23. Additional fee for photos; personal photos are not allowed. 

Santa's Workshop: Walk in the shoes of an elf and create a Christmas-y craft, ornament, plush or another type of artsy artifact.  

Snowflake Lane: Chains on your tires are not necessary for this slick ride. You won't have to exchange insurance if you get in a fender bender either. Race for the checkered flag in this bumpy bumper car ride on Frosty's street. 

Sugar Plum Cookie Factory: Sweets are always apart of the holidays. Make and take home some eats back for the holiday party and of course Saint Nick.

Thrills at Holiday in the Park

Grab some hot cocoa and get in line folks because the thrills at Holiday in the Park do have rides available. Unfortunately, a few coasters like Goliath, Mardi Gras Hangover, Viper, Giant Drop and The Whizzer will be out of commission for the remainder of 2018. Bundle up and let the ride take you!
