Highwood celebrates a brunch classic on Sunday, Aug. 16, with the return of Bloody Mary Fest at Everts Park. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., mixologists from across the region will showcase their most creative tomato-based concoctions, ranging from traditional recipes to adventurous variations like Micheladas, Red Snappers made with gin, and tequila-infused Bloody Marias.
The event caters to those with adventurous palates, offering a wide variety of spirits and unique garnishes to sample throughout the day. The afternoon culminates in a high-stakes competition where vendors vie for the prestigious "Proud Mary Award," recognized as the top honor for the best bloody-based cocktail of the festival.
