The Village of Gurnee will host a "Gurnee Get-Together" on Friday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Christine Thompson Park, located at the corner of Woodlawn and Belle Plaine avenues. The family-friendly event is free to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for an evening of live music, yard games and crafts hosted by the Gurnee Arts Commission. New this year, bounce houses will be available for children. No Limit will perform classic rock hits, and food will be available for purchase from El Durango.
