The Waukegan Park District is hosting a free GO WAUKEGAN: Zombie Walk on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 3pm to 4pm at Hinkston Park, located at 810 Baldwin Avenue. Participants will receive a free GO WAUKEGAN shirt while supplies last. Dress up in your Halloween costume or best zombie look for a chance to win a prize!

In partnership with the Lake County Health Department, the Waukegan Park District launched GO WAUKEGAN, an initiative to improve the health and wellness of residents through activities, education, and collaboration with an emphasis on outdoor enrichment.

Preregistration is not required to participate in the free walk. There will be a drawing for a one-month free membership to the Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center. For more information, contact Javi Martinez at (847)782-3621 or [email protected].
