The Waukegan Park District is hosting a free GO WAUKEGAN Splashin' Summer Walk on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10am to 11am at Hinkston Park, located at 810 Baldwin Avenue. All ages are welcome and there will be a drawing for a one-month Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center membership. 

In partnership with the Lake County Health Department, the Waukegan Park District launched GO WAUKEGAN, an initiative to improve the health and wellness of residents through activities, education, and collaboration with an emphasis on outdoor enrichment. The free outdoor walks are designed to encourage individuals and families to walk a minimum of 30 minutes a day, helping create a healthy lifestyle. 

Preregistration is not required to attend this free community walk. Wach walk will have a unique theme to enjoy with free GO WAUKEGAN shirts handed while supplies last. For more information, visit waukeganparks.org/gowaukegan.
