The Waukegan Park District is hosting a free GO WAUKEGAN: Glow Walk on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 7pm to 8pm at Bevier Park, located at 2255 York House Road. Participants will receive a free GO WAUKEGAN shirt while supplies last.

In partnership with the Lake County Health Department, the Waukegan Park District launched GO WAUKEGAN, an initiative to improve the health and wellness of residents through activities, education, and collaboration with an emphasis on outdoor enrichment.

Preregistration is not required to participate in the free walk. There will be a drawing for a one-month free membership to the Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center. For more information, contact Javi Martinez at (847)782-3621 or [email protected].
