By: Jonathan Jones 09/15/2017

While the fresh breeze has been common for the last few weeks, we will enjoy summer-like temperatures to give summer its final farewell for 2017.

Since it will be in the 80-degree range, you may want to take a dip in one of over 75 inland lakes that Lake County has to offer. Visit one of Lake County's beaches while it's still hot.

Fall is Lake County's specialty. To learn more about everything all of the festivals scheduled continue here.

Let's see what's going on in this installment of things to do this weekend September 15-17.

4. Final Weekend of the Season at Ravinia Festival

For 43 years, William Robinson (a.k.a Smokey) has written, sung and produced notable contributions to pop music. The Motown vice president has scored a plethora of top 10 hits as a solo artist and as the lead singer of the Miracles. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 and was awarded the 2016 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for his lifetime of achievements in the music industry.
