On one cold December in 1956, four southern gentlemen gathered for a recording session at Sun Record Studios in Memphis. These four guys weren’t your average quartet. The group was made up of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins and considered a pinnacle moment in rock and roll history. At this point, Cash and Perkins had achieved some success while Presley and Lewis were virtually unknown. There was a 17-track album that was generated from this jam session and it wasn’t released until 1981. The musical shows the four working together in their own element. Initially opening in 2006, the Broadway production collected three Tony Award nominations.

The original Broadway production saw Kevin Chamberlin (who played Horton) receive a Tony Award nomination. “Seussical the Musical” will conduct a Q&A for the kiddies following the show.
This show follows a woman named Sharon in her mid-50s who’s recently divorced and needs a roommate to share her Hawkeye State home. Robyn answers Sharon’s prayers and moves in with her. However, as time goes on Sharon tries to uncover a few hidden secrets about her newly acquired roomie. This dark comedy is a perfect date night and gift for the holidays. The show runs on select days through March 3.
The marquee stage in Waukegan has plenty of great performances for a date night or the entire family. On March 2, Jeremy Piven hits the stage with his brand of stand-up. The funnyman has been known for his performances on the television series "Entourage," "Ellen" and movies such as "Old School," "Smokin' Aces" and "The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard." The following day features Air Supply. The band that started their career on the set of "Jesus Christ Superstar" formed a band and charted eight hits on the Billboard Hot 100 List with tunes like "Lost in Love," "Every Woman in the World" and "All Out of Love." Disney Dance Party (March 8) is a splendid opportunity for your youngsters to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and a host of characters cut a rug. Hairball (March 9) is a cover hair metal band.

But in seeking the truth, his own worst nightmares come to light. Written by Sophocles, ‘Oedipus Rex’ is considered to be the greatest of all Greek plays. It's Oedipus with a modern take. The show runs March 1-3 and 7-9.
