Black Outside: Juneteenth Lake County Parade & Festival in Waukegan

The African American Museum at the England Manor presents Black Outside, the Juneteenth Lake County Parade and Festival, on June 20, 2026.

The parade kicks off from Waukegan High School, Washington Campus, followed by a festival on Genesee Street. The event will feature live music, DJs, a kids zone, food trucks, vendors, raffles and more.

Highlights include the Turn Up or Tap Out Battle of the Bands and the Mr. & Miss Juneteenth pageant.
