The VHCBS 12U Gray Cougars will host Bags, Boos and Baseball, a Halloween-themed cornhole tournament, on Saturday, October 17 at Prairie House Tavern in Buffalo Grove. Check-in begins at 11 a.m., with adults and kids welcome to participate. Team entry costs $100 per two-person team, though the first 10 teams to register will receive a $20 discount, bringing their cost down to $80. Registration closes Thursday, October 15, 2026.

Along with the tournament, the event will feature cash prizes and trophies for top-finishing teams, along with costume contests for best team costume, best family costume and best kids costume. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Prairie House Tavern throughout the event. Proceeds from the tournament will support the Cougars' upcoming trip to Cooperstown, New York.
