The Great Lakes Marina, located on beautiful Lake Michigan at Naval Station Great Lakes, offers the best in services and amenities, all at a "great" value, to authorized Navy MWR patrons and their guests.

The 96-acre, full-service marina has 30-foot piers with utilities, linear wall spaces, moorings and dry storage. The marina also has a boat yard for winter storage, along with winterizing services including shrink wrapping.

Because the marina is located on an active military installation, access is limited to eligible patrons. Boat owners and their immediate adult family members must complete a background check, and guests must go through the same vetting process.

Amenities include plenty of parking, a launch ramp, a family beach area, a beach house with restrooms and showers, and a fuel dock and pump-out station. Boat rentals (sail and power) are available, along with US Sailing (basic and intermediate) and US Safe Powerboating courses.

The large harbor areas are excellent for paddling activities such as kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding.
