Perry's Steakhouse and Grille is turning back the clock to 1979, the year it began as a small butcher shop, with a 79-cent lunch on Flashback Friday, Oct. 2. The first 200 guests in line at each location will receive a card redeemable for one of two lunch entrées:

• Pork Chop Friday lunch: Perry's famous lunch-cut pork chop, served with whipped potatoes and homemade applesauce
• Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich: A new entrée, served with French fries and horseradish cream

Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and cards must be redeemed by noon. Each location will offer 100 of each entrée while supplies last. The offer is dine-in only, and guests must be 21 or older. Reservations will not be accepted, and guests may not hold spots in line for others.
