The Lakeshore Campus in downtown Waukegan offers residents of northeast Lake County convenient access to College of Lake County programs.
The campus provides a full range of academic choices, allowing students to complete coursework leading toward all of CLC's degree options and several certificate programs. In addition, Lakeshore offers GED and English as a Second Language courses and non-credit continuing education for personal enrichment.
In addition to a wide range of academic opportunities, the Lakeshore Campus offers a full menu of student support services, all at the Student Services Center (Room N211). These services include counseling, advisement, registration, and financial aid advice, and many services are offered on a "drop-in" basis. Other services are also offered to make attending college more convenient for busy, working adults.
A fully accredited child-care center is located at Lakeshore, as well as a full-service bookstore.
Library service is now offered at the Lakeshore Campus in Room N-214.
Check the hours posted for in-person library assistance, or contact the Library by phone or online.
Faculty and students can also access many Library resources through the library web page.
Although Lakeshore is conveniently located on a main bus route, students who choose to drive can find plenty of free parking in an adjacent parking lot on Sheridan Road.
