Welcome to the Backyard Steak Pit in Gurnee, Illinois. When you first walk in the door and smell the open grill, you know right away you are in for a special dining experience. Since 1985 their family-owned restaurant has been committed to fine-dining in a comfortable setting.

All of their steaks are cooked over an authentic charcoal briquette grill, searing in the natural juices. Backyard Steak Pit offers a wide selection of Black Angus-aged steaks, cut fresh-to-order Prime Rib, along with a diverse selection of chicken, pork and fresh seafood entrées.
