The Mundelein Grand Prix is a professional and amateur cycling event that is part of the Chicago Grit race series, featuring criterium-style races on a closed circuit south of Courtland Commons. Riders complete multiple high-speed laps throughout the day, with nearly nonstop racing from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. In addition to the races, the event includes community activities such as children’s games, a community ride, live music, art activities and a beer garden, making it a full-day festival for all ages.
