Get ready to lace up, roll out and rally for a great cause with the Rec & Roll 5K – Pathways to Play, a fun twist on the classic Loop the Lakes 5K presented by the Vernon Hills Park District. Participants will enjoy the traditional 5K route with music throughout the park.

The event is more than just a 5K; it’s a celebration of community spirit and giving back. Proceeds benefit the Park District Scholarship Fund, which provides financial aid so more Vernon Hills families can participate in recreational programs when they need it most. The event is open to ages 6 and older.

Registration fees are $30 through April 13, $35 from April 14-24, and $40 on the day of the event. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed only for participants who register by April 13.
