Dwight Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, and he is a 21-time nominated, multiple Grammy Award winner. He has 12 gold albums and 9 platinum or multi-platinum albums, with five of those albums topping Billboard’s Country Albums chart and another 14 landing in the top 10. Nearly 40 of Yoakam’s singles have charted on Billboard, with 14 peaking in the top 10. Yoakam is a recipient of the Artist of the Year award from the Americana Music Association, the most prestigious award offered by the organization, and he was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame at the 49th anniversary Gala on October 14, 2019, in Nashville, TN.
Old Crow Medicine Show got their start busking on street corners in 1998, from New York up through Canada, winning audiences along the way with their boundless energy and spirit. They eventually found themselves in Boone, NC, where they caught the attention of folk icon Doc Watson, who invited the band to play at MerleFest—and the rest is history. In the more than 20 years since those humble beginnings, the band has been inducted as Grand Ole Opry members and won two Grammy Awards: Best Folk Album for Remedy (2014) and Best Long Form Music Video for “Big Easy Express” (2013). Their classic single “Wagon Wheel” was certified Double Platinum by the RIAA at nearly the same moment the band’s debut album became a Gold seller in 2019.
