Buffalo Creek Brewing will be business as usual this weekend, except they'll have an Oktoberfest theme.
More details to follow including a new brew release but here are a few highlights:
-Live Music on Friday and Saturday
-Smokin T's will be making German Food
-Delicious beer (of course)
In addition to live German Oompah music by the brass section of the Lake County Symphony Orchestra (on Friday and Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.), guests can enjoy Hammerschlagen (nail driving), horseshoes and bags. To fuel the competitive drive, the extensive menu of craft beer offerings highlighted by the Oktoberfest brew, the Big Ludwigski (a German MÃ¤rzen with huge amounts of Munich malts, subtle hints of noble hops, and a clean finish). Also being released this weekend is Bus Wedgie (a Munich Dunkel) named after the bus that got stuck under Long Grove's historic bridge just 23 hours after the grand re-opening. For the kids and non-drinkers, Buffalo Creek Brewing offers hand-crafted, non-alcoholic choices like freshly made ginger beer.
