Join us to celebrate all things of a magical nature…bring your owl, your wand (or smartwand), and dress as the character you most closely relate to. Be ready for some Wizard Chess or is Quidditch your game? Contests, games, and more magical moments are being conjured at Antioch’s Wizards Weekend. Be part of this magical world of Harry Potter and all things magical. Antioch will transform itself with the swish of a wand (and the help of magical volunteers) to bring a weekend of magical fun to all creatures – magical or muggle alike. Wizards and Muggles of all ages will enjoy many magical moments this weekend! For the past year, planning for Wizards Weekend has been underway, creating magical moments for all ages.
The day of magical fun includes:
- Wizard-Muggle Arts & Crafts Faire, 9-4 pm
- Hogwarts School of Magic for Kids*, 10-Noon
- Hogsmeade Village Shops, 10-3 pm
- Horcrux Hunt through Hogsmeade, 10-3 pm
- Wizard Chess*
- Wizard Costume Contest
- Magical Beasts Costume Contest (dogs)
- Toddler Wizards Fun Fair, 12-2 pm (NorthBridge Church)
- Wizard Grand Banquet*, 6-9 pm
*Requires advance registration and fee.
