The iconic Mundelein event that has been a staple of the school's cultural calendar for half a century. Both evenings will be a feast for the senses, boasting an impressive lineup of more than 40 live bands, a silent auction, casino games, theatrical performances by students and a mesmerizing magic show. One of the highlights of Street Scenes is the popular cabaret-style student show. For six decades, the annual Chain O'Lakes Fishing Derby and Winter Festival has been a Lake County staple. This Antioch event has not only stood the test of time but has also become the longest continuously run winter celebration in the state. Although this year the fishing derby will not take place due to unseasonable weather, both children and adults can partake in the excitement with raffles and games scheduled for both days. Bucket raffle participants have a chance to win a variety of prizes such as a smoker, Milwaukee Impact Drive, generator and more. The food festivities take place inside a heated tent. The Conservation Café offers a delectable selection of food to appease hunger. Bring the family and immerse yourself in the charm of this historic winter event.
