Pokémon in Lake County: ‘Gotta catch ’em all. It’s you and me; I know it’s my destiny.’
I’ll be perfectly honest. I was out of the country and all of the sudden; my Facebook wall blew up with different references regarding Pokémon in Lake County.
I will admit, I was just a little, tiny bit too old to really get into Pokémon in Lake County cards, but I watched the show from time to time.
Anyway- the Pokémon Go app was launched just under a month ago and already has had significant community and cultural impact across world.
The Pokémon Go app is already worth in $3.65 billion, according to Citibank and they predict that in the five months remaining in 2016, this startup company called Niantic will bring in as much as $750 million in revenue. (Where’s the emoji for perplexed?)
You and I both are engulfed in this Pokémon Go Craze and that’s OK. It gets you out there searching around Lake County. When you have a minute to peal your eyes away from the screen, you can witness the beauty of our fair area.
That being said, the Chicago Tribune just released a story that shows us hungry users what the top 10 Poke Stops in Lake County.
