Northern Illinois Food Bank is hosting its annual race event, the Fight Hunger 5K/10. You can help provide millions of meals to meet the increasing rate of food insecurity in the region. Join in on Saturday, April 17th to help provide food for our neighbors’ tables and hope for their hearts!
The in-person event is outside of Lake County however, the day promises flexibility and fun for everyone interested in fighting hunger in the local communities. This event is a great way to get the family out walking or grab a physically-distanced running buddy to enjoy the outdoors.
NIFB is offering more choices than ever before to customize your own race, which means this event can work for anyone! All participants will receive an event t-shirt and finisher medal to show off their Food Bank spirit as they join the fight against hunger in our community.
