FIG Presents: Not Another Farm Dinner!

Sunday August 12, 2018

Times: 4 - 8 p.m.

FIG Presents: Not Another Farm Dinner!

By now, you've heard of a farmer's market. You're familiar with the term farm - to - table, and you may even be yoga buddies with a locally pastured goat. All beautiful, important ways to get to know the food system. For the second time we land our tables at the farm, we'll ask friends and guests to set aside the hype for a truly down-to-earth evening. The FIG seasonal fare will be as delicious as you've come to expect and we won't judge if you really need to snap social media pictures of your plate, as long as you don't let your food get cold in the process.

Join us for FIG's sophomore dinner at Radical Root Farm, an organically certified family farm just north of Chicago. Nestled among restored prairie land and forest preserves, Radical Root is a 150-year-old farm owned by a conservation organization.

Tickets will include hors d'oeuvres, welcome cocktail, craft beer and wine with the meal, family-style dinner, games, live music, and farm tour (cute goats included).

Location

Radical Root Organic Farm
31330 N. Milwaukee Avenue
Libertyville, IL 60048
