The party has returned to Libertyville. From April to December, First Fridays on Main Street Libertyville is always a fan favorite. Saunter downtown to get a taste of Libertyville’s mouth-watering grub, the distinguished shops, special promotions and tunes make you get up and dance. There’s a party in downtown Libertyville and everyone’s invited!

Why do birds suddenly appear, every time you are near? Well, maybe it has to do with the environment of Almond Marsh. The nutty body of water and the Lake County Audubon will partner up so you can get a fantastic glimpse of nesting herons, cormorants and other waterfowl. Participants of all ages will receive refreshments and a spotting scope.
There’s plenty of Art being put on display. At the Artcetera Gallery at CLC in Grayslake, the Serviceability Exhibition will run from today till April 10. This exhibit features handcrafted ceramics vessels from 40 unique artists that were invited to showcase their talents. The guests work is curated by Ben Bates.

Artwauk is enjoyed by all attendees every third Friday of every month. Can you believe it’s already been four years since this all began? In honor of being a staple in Waukegan for almost a half-decade old, the First Annual Juried Exhibition at the Dandelion Gallery. The one who becomes victor of this show will receive a featured artist exhibition at the Dandelion Gallery in the following months.
Monday Night Pong Tournaments – 21+
Are looking to relive your college days (or strengthen your skills on the table)? Every Monday night test out your opponents skills in Kristof’s Entertainment Center’s Pong Tournaments. Winners receive prizes, but must be 21 and older to play. Arrive early for the tournament’s sign up from 6-10 p.m. The Round Lake ping pong toss begins at 10 p.m.
Jeff Brown and Justin Yates Live @ the Light the Lamp
When there is a free show with very talented musicians, it will always catch your eye. At the Light the Lamp in Grayslake, Lake County’s own Justin Yates will be playing alongside Jeff Brown. You may remember Justin from the Best Day of my Life video in 2014. Come through to the Light the Lamp, grab a glass and enjoy some original music from the soul!

College of Lake County always has extremely intriguing shows playing at the Lumber Center. The CLC International Film Series Featuring, ‘Neighboring Sounds.’ The cinema is about residents of an apartment block in Recife, Brazil. The community is already in disarray, and a security company offers their service and causes more chaos as the movie progresses. Kleber Medndonca Filho, who is the director, sound designer and widescreen composer of the film already, is enticing many with the synopsis of this movie. Be the first to see a masterpiece.
