"Biking Through the Years: Cycling in Grayslake" is an exhibit that explores the history of cycling both on a national and local scale.
Starting with the early history of the bicycle, the exhibit will discuss the evolution of the machine over three hundred years, society’s attitudes towards the sport, safety advancements, and the past century of Grayslake’s contributions to the progress of bicycles.
Winter hours are:
Wednesday-Saturday 12- 4 p.m.
Starting April 15, the Heritage Center will be open:
Wednesday - Friday 12-4 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Starting June 7, summer hours are:
Wednesday 12-7 p.m.
Thursday - Saturday 12- 4 p.m.
And during major Grayslake festivals and events
Beginning September 30, fall hours are:
Wednesday - Friday 12- 4 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m- 4 p.m.
