Find fun things to do this weekend in Lake County!  Say goodbye to summer with a rockin' night at Miller's Dog N'Suds, and then welcome fall with Didier Farms' Pumpkin Festival's opening weekend!

1.) Libertyville's Oktoberfest Street Dance, Saturday, September 20, 4 – 11 p.m.  Rock the big top all night!  Dance the night away with live German bands and cover bands, dine on delicious food with friends and neighbors and beverages.  Children under 18 are free! Season Finale Classic Car Nite at Miller’s Dog N’ Suds, Saturday, September 20, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.  We might not be ready to say goodbye… but it’s that time of year when Miller’s Dog N’Suds closes its windows until spring.  But one thing you don’t want to do is miss out on the grand finale! Bring a lawn chair and help say thanks to Miller’s for another wonderful season full of family fun, delicious food and memories.  Get up close to classic cars, hear rock & roll music by the Lil Red and the Howlin’ Wolves and don’t forget to get one last sip of their root beer!  (Maybe even see if they have any to go!)  Miller's Dog N' Suds Drive-In, 517 Washington St., Ingleside

ArtWauk, Saturday, September 20, 5 -10 p.m.  Take a stroll through Downtown Waukegan and experience an arts revolution!  Get free access to over 20 different galleries throughout the Downtown area and see one of a king paintings, sculptures, film, dance, theatre, comedy, music, performance arts, great food and pedicabs.  You never know what to expect like street poets, live art, music, and a spirit of spontaneity that’s fun for the whole family.  Downtown Waukegan, Genesee Street, Waukegan

4.) Grayslake Pub Crawl, Saturday September 20, 3 – 7 p.m.   Downtown Grayslake is full of fun places to explore and this is a great way to either experience all your favorites at once, or for the first time.  Just try not to make new friends as you walk to five downtown establishments and hear from storytellers who will share the history of beer.  Hear about how this ancient beverage made its way throughout time.  Stops include: Abel’s, Charlie’s, Emil’s, Light the Lamp Brewery and The Vine. 5.) Didier Farms Pumpkin Fest, Saturday, September 20, - Friday, October 31, Monday - Friday: 9 a.m.- 6 p.m., Saturday - Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  This is your one stop shop for all things fall!  Go for a hayride, pony ride or a camel ride and then navigate a corn maze or cheer on pig races before warming up with homemade cider and treats from Grandma D’s.  Pick your own pumpkin in their sprawling fields, get up close to fuzzy friends in the petting zoo, and Didier Farms, 16678 W.
