As we approach the three day mark for Fan voting polling close (April 19 at 11:59 p.m.), Visit Lake County would like to invite all residents, music lovers, beer aficionados and Lake County supporters to join us as we announce the Ultimate Grand Prize winner at Mickey Finn’s in Libertyville on May 14.
At this event the winner of our Fan Vote will be performing their winning song and a couple of other tracks from their library.

Dan and Jenny Trio
Jenny Trio and Dan Kortmann have been a happily married couple and song group since 1971. The duet classifies their music as pop, rock, folk and acoustic.
The duo has continued to perform live around Lake County, and they have been heard on radio, TV and seen in newspapers.
Gaining popularity was their song I Love LZ. The Lake Zurich ode highlighted many of the beautiful features and businesses that reside in the Lake County city.
The Lake Zurich residents have lived in the County since 1974. They live by the credo, “Whenever there’s a wrong that needs righting, there’s a song that needs writing.”
“We hike Lake County, graduated Lake County college, volunteer Lake county master gardeners, Ela Historical Society. We sing about historical characters from Lake County. We love Lake County!”
