Voted by the International Festivals and Events Association in 2011, as "One of the top three festivals in the world," the MWR Department invites all families, friends and neighbors of the Naval Station Great Lakes to be a part of the base's annual 4th of July Celebration on historic Ross Field on July 3 and 4. All are invited to come out and celebrate the nation's independence with two days of fire-cracking festival fun at one of the biggest 4th of July celebrations in the area with fireworks, live bands, family entertainment, carnival rides, delicious food and much more! Join in as MWR celebrates our freedom and patriotism at the Naval Station Great Lakes at this free, fun-for-all-ages, open to the public, celebration July 3 and 4.
